Delivery areas & cutoffs
Enter a postal code on any arrangement and we show the exact dates we can promise. This page is the map behind that: where we go, how fast, and what the cutoffs are.
1. Where we deliver
- Same-day and next-day: the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Pickering.
- Next-day: Hamilton, Kitchener–Waterloo, Guelph and Greater Montreal.
- Two to three days: much of southern Ontario, Ottawa–Gatineau and Quebec City.
The postal code decides. Enter it on any product page, or in the bar at the top of the site, and only the dates we can honour are offered. If your address is not served, we say so before you order rather than after.
2. Order cutoffs
- Same-day in the GTA: order by 1:00 PM. Larger pieces such as casket sprays and standing sprays need more time in the workroom and are offered next-day.
- Next-day areas: order by 1:00 PM the day before.
- Two-to-three-day areas: the date picker shows the first day we can promise for your postal code.
Sundays and statutory holidays vary by area and are reflected in the dates offered. If a date you need is not offered, email care@ripflowers.com and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.
3. Delivery fees
The delivery fee depends on the destination and is shown at checkout, before you pay, as soon as the postal code is entered. There are no surcharges added afterwards.
4. Funeral homes, churches and venues
- Tell us the venue and the service date and time at checkout. Our drivers deliver ahead of the service to the venue's receiving area.
- We confirm by email the moment the arrangement is placed, so you know it is there before you arrive.
- Give the name of the deceased exactly as the venue has it, so the flowers reach the right service.
- Where we must confirm which service the flowers are for, we may contact the venue directly.
5. Homes and businesses
- If no one is available we may leave the flowers in a safe place, with a neighbour or with reception, and we tell you where.
- If that is not possible we contact you to arrange redelivery, which may carry a further delivery charge.
- A phone number for the recipient helps our driver on the day; we use it for the delivery only.
6. Weather and delays
Severe weather or events beyond our control may delay a delivery. We tell you as soon as we know and deliver at the first safe opportunity. If we fail on a promised date through our own fault, we make it right: redelivery, replacement or refund, your choice. See when something goes wrong.
