Accessibility
Everyone should be able to send flowers to someone they have lost. We build this site and run our shops so that people with disabilities can use them with dignity and independence.

1. Our commitment
RIPflowers.com is committed to meeting the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards, and to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA for this website.
2. What we do on the website
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone: links, buttons, menus and forms are reachable in a sensible order and show where the focus is.
- Pages are structured with headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through them, and images carry text descriptions.
- Form fields are labelled, errors are described in words next to the field, and nothing depends on colour alone.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and the site works when text is enlarged to 200% or the page is zoomed.
- The site works on phones and tablets as well as desktops, and does not rely on hover or precise pointing.
- Nothing flashes, and nothing moves that cannot be paused.
We test with keyboard navigation and screen readers as we build, and we fix accessibility faults with the same priority as any other fault.
3. Other ways to order
If any part of the site is hard to use, you can place or change an order by email at care@ripflowers.com, and we will do everything the site does for you. Order confirmations and receipts are available in accessible formats on request.
4. In our shops
Our staff are trained to serve customers with disabilities, and service animals and support persons are welcome. If you use an assistive device, we will help in whatever way works for you. Tell us when you arrive, or call ahead, and we will have the arrangement ready.
5. Tell us when we fall short
If you find something you cannot use, or have a suggestion, we want to know. Email care@ripflowers.comwith “Accessibility” in the subject. We reply within five business days, in a format that suits you, and we tell you what we are changing.
